Remapping Mac OS X Keys

Absolutely *nothing* on this page is finalized. I typically start documenting something & slowly add to it until it's complete.
So I've been staring at the MacBook Pro & MacBook laptops for quite some time now & the only thing that's kept me completely away is the lack of a CTRL key on the right hand side, the one I've been using for over 20 years. I'm sort of right-CTRL dominant.
Asking around & searching Google, I haven't been able to get much more than "... and then you install this third party app ..." which just doesn't cut it. I spend probably 50-70% of my computing time inside of a terminal & use the CTRL key very often.
But I think that I've found a solution, & it might not be too complicated.

Generating Keyboard Layouts
The keyboard layout can be modified via an XML document & saved in a subdirectory of your personal Library directory. This can be a little tricky, but with a bit of work everything should work out.
The following website has the ability to generate a basic template for what you need.

Installing Keyboard Layouts
- Save your XML document as [something].keylayout, I saved my own as duncan.keylayout & place it in the following directory :
"~/Library/Keyboard Layouts"
- Log out & log back in
Loading Keyboard Layouts
- Apple On Upper-Left -> System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu
- Select the checkbox to the left of your keyboard map, they're listed alphabetically
- Jump between layouts with Option+Command+Space
