Pioneer Laseractive (w/Sega Genesis)
From DuncanWiki
This is by far the crown jewel in my video game collection.
A Boy Can Dream
Back in 1993 Pioneer released what I thought was the most insane system ever. A laserdisc player that also played Sega Genesis & NEC TurboGrafx 16 games, including CD based ones. Priced at nearly $1,000 it was pretty far out of my 17 year-old reach, but that lasted only 12 years.
In early 2006 I found one while browsing http://boston.craigslist.org & managed to score one for $150 with a few laserdisc movies, none of which I really cared for. In early 2007 I purchased my second one for replacement parts in the event of my original dying.
