Haze
From DuncanWiki
Haze was $9.99 at Best Buy & I had wanted to play it for a while... the concept was interesting & the reviews were OK.
Thoughts
- Weapons are incredibly unbalanced between the two sides. The rebels' weaponry is more powerful, has larger clips & you can hold far more rounds
- The anti-drug message is a little heavy
- In between sections of a few missions you are repeatedly magically transported several times to opportune locations
- The game felt rushed to market
- Very short, it took me about 2 or 3 days to beat it
- The plot was pretty good, and it definitely set itself up for a sequel as you were never really sure how good the good guys were
- I kept getting lost on the land carrier
- The end battle was too simple! Two shots and it was over.
- AI was horrible, the enemies were stupid & my allies kept pushing me into the line of fire or getting into my own line of fire
- Plenty of ammunition
- You can salvage any form of round you need from dropped guns, but you don't always get that many rounds
Glitches
- MASSIVE amounts of texture tearing
- Random placement when restarting the solo mission driving through the village that has a tank
